DE/EN: Starkes Fahrer Line-UP in Vellahn – Der Meister Kevin Gallas ist zurueck

Strong rider Line-UP in Vellahn - Champion Kevin Gallas is back

Despite of overlapping dates and injuries, the HardEnduroSeries Germany presents a strong field of participants for the 3rd race of the season.

Next Sunday (11.08.2019) the summer break of the HardEnduroSeries Germany ends. For the first time the start will be in Vellahn, a traditional club from the north of Germany, which has a lot of experience in motocross as well as in the enduro sector.

For the fans there will be a lot to see, the traditional mode of the HESG with prologue, group races and finals.

The duel between Robert Scharl and Leon Hentschel continues at the top of the table. Unfortunately, Blake Gutzeit (cruciate ligament injury) and Tim Apolle are no longer in the line-up. The last one changed to Sherco and has the chance to compete in the US Endurocross Championship.

So the championship will probably be decided between Robert Scharl from Taufkirchen and Leon Hentschel. Hentschel, who is a club member of MC Vellahn, is currently 5 points behind Scharl. Scharl was able to win the season opener in Neuhaus-Schierschnitz and with 3rd place in Crimmitschau he scored solid points for the championship. With a home advantage, Hentschel wants to get his first victory in the series in Vellahn, but with 5 podium places in his HESG career he is still one of the most successful riders.

A surprise came yesterday in the entry office. Last year's champion Kevin Gallas returns to the championship as a registered rider and of course wants to build on last year's successes. Which races he will contest is not yet known, but at least for Vellahn he is announced and wants to fight for victory.

But last year's fourth-placed Marcel Teucher and Mirko Fabera also want to get involved. Both were injured at the beginning of the season. While Teucher was an expert in the livestream of the HardEnduroSeries Germany, Fabera had to give up in Crimmitschau due to an operation caused by an injury in winter.

In Vellahn the fans can look forward to drivers from 6 nations. Among them for the first time a rider from Russia. Next to Germany, the Dutch will be the most strongly represented with 6 riders.

With the fan guide we will report again about the mode and important facts for the fans in the next days.

Should anyone decide to take part in the race spontaneously, they will still have the opportunity to register at https://www.hardenduro-germany.de/registration-1-vellahner-adac-hardenduro-11-08-2019/ .
