AUNER HardEnduroSeries Germany heads to Reetz for round two – new track layout and intense battle for the title

After a spectacular and weather-challenged season opener in Neuhaus-Schierschnitz, the AUNER HardEnduroSeries Germany continues with its second round on Saturday, March 28, 2026, in Reetz.

The opening round already showed how strong and competitive the field is this season. Leon Hentschel came out on top in the final ahead of Henry Strauss, but the duel between these two top riders is expected to take center stage once again in Reetz.

World Ranking points available in Reetz for the first time

At short notice, the Reetz event was included in the Hard Enduro World Ranking. This means riders can already collect important international ranking points in just the second round of the season – an additional incentive for the competitors.

New track layout brings fresh challenges

The 2026 edition in Reetz also features several new elements. The most significant change concerns the track layout:

For the first time, the group races will be run in the opposite direction to the final, creating completely new challenges for the riders.

There are also changes in the forest section. Due to recent forestry work, not all areas have been fully cleared yet, allowing for the integration of new and partially different sections into the course.

However, the heart of the event remains the well-known sand pit, which will once again provide spectacular action and the unique character of the race.

Exciting battle for the win expected

From a sporting perspective, the Reetz round promises another thrilling contest. Henry Strauss will be highly motivated to bounce back from his defeat at the opener. The faster nature of the track could play to the strengths of last year’s vice champion.

At the same time, Leon Hentschel will aim to confirm his strong form and fight for another victory.

The battle for the remaining podium positions is also expected to be tight. Alongside Marc Wulf and Felix Bopp, riders on the Stark Varg are also among the contenders who could challenge for top positions in Reetz.

Stark Reverse Challenge and full supporting program

There will once again be plenty happening off the track in Reetz. The Stark Reverse Challenge will return as a side event. Registration is available here:
