AUNER HardEnduroSeries Germany Offers First Preview of the March Events

The countdown is on: In just over a month, the AUNER HardEnduroSeries Germany (HESG) will kick off its ninth season on March 14, 2026, in Neuhaus-Schierschnitz – earlier than ever before in the history of the series. Entries for the season opener will open on February 11, marking the official start of a new and highly diverse racing year.

Significantly Extended Track for the Season Opener

The first round in Neuhaus-Schierschnitz will feature noticeable changes for both riders and spectators. The race lap will be considerably longer than in previous years. A key addition is the integration of the sand pit section, well known to many riders from the Champion East Enduro Challenge.
This new section alone will at least double the lap length, resulting in a longer overall race distance. At the same time, fewer group races will be required, making the season opener once again a true highlight within the HESG calendar.

New Developments Also Await in Reetz

Just two weeks later, on March 28, 2026, the series moves on to Reetz. Preparations are already well underway there as well. The MSC Burg Eisenhardt has already begun intensive track work using heavy machinery to ensure optimal conditions for the second round of the season. Riders can also expect several updates and improvements to the Reetz track layout.

Positive Registration Numbers and an Attractive Season

Series registration for the 2026 season remains open via
www.hardenduro-germany.de/registration-2026.
Riders who plan to compete in more than three of the seven championship rounds benefit from a reduced entry fee, saving €10 per race as registered series participants.

Current registration numbers are already significantly higher than at the same point last year, reflecting strong interest in the upcoming season. The 2026 calendar offers exceptional variety:
For the first time, three different race formats will be used during one season. Alongside the proven HESG format with prologue, group races and a demanding final, checkpoint-based races will be held in Meltewitz. In Reisersberg, the Sprint Enduro with Extreme Test will return on the second race day – a format last seen in 2020 in Reetz.

Additional highlights include a brand-new event in Kronach, an extended track layout in Neuhaus-Schierschnitz, and the 50th race in the history of the series, which will be celebrated as a double-header event in Reisersberg.

Attractive Supporting Events at the Opening Rounds

Staying at the venue for an extra day is well worth it at the first two events of the season.
In Neuhaus-Schierschnitz, the 1st Champion Schottenberg Enduro will take place on Sunday. On a simplified course, riders must complete a defined number of laps including a special test within four hours. The official regulations are already available at www.mc-isolator.com, with entries opening on February 15.
In Reetz, an open MX club race will be held on Sunday following the HESG event, which is expected to attract interest from many HESG riders.

Statement from the Series Organiser

Series organiser Denis Günther is eagerly anticipating the season opener:
“The longest break without an HESG race is finally behind us. In just over a month, we will start an exciting ninth season, which also includes a special milestone with the 50th race in the history of the series. We can hardly wait – this season will be extremely diverse. We are very happy with the current number of registrations, especially because many new and interesting riders have already signed up to experience the unique spirit of the HESG.”
