After three exciting rounds of the season, the focus of the AUNER HardEnduroSeries Germany is already shifting towards the next major highlight of the year. On June 27–28, 2026, the series returns to Reisersberg and adds another chapter to its success story. This race weekend will be special in several ways. For the first time in series history, an event will be held as a double-header weekend. At the same time, the Saturday race will mark a historic milestone: the 50th race in the history of the AUNER HardEnduroSeries Germany.
With the anniversary celebration, two completely different race formats, and several new track features, riders can look forward to one of the most diverse race weekends ever held by the series.
Two race days – two completely different challenges
Riders will face two separate championship races during the weekend, with full points awarded on both Saturday and Sunday. On Saturday, competitors will tackle the traditional and proven AUNER HardEnduroSeries Germany format. The day starts with the ACE Bikes Prolog Award, followed by the group races and the big final in the afternoon.
Sunday, however, will feature a completely different competition format. Riders will take part in a classic Enduro race, including a timed Extreme Test that will count towards the final results.
A unique feature of Sunday’s event is the inclusion of a time control on every lap, similar to traditional Enduro racing. This helps keep the field organized throughout the race and actively reduces the risk of bottlenecks and traffic jams on the course.
As a result, riders will have to master two very different challenges within a single weekend. While Saturday focuses on speed and direct racing battles, Sunday will additionally require strong performance in the special test, endurance, consistency, and excellent time management.
Reisersberg remains one of the series classics
Over the years, the Hexenkessel Reisersberg has become one of the most popular venues on the calendar. The course combines natural forest sections, climbs, technical obstacles, and numerous spectator points to create a true Hard Enduro experience.
In 2026, riders and fans can once again look forward to the unique atmosphere that has made Reisersberg famous far beyond the borders of Bavaria.
New sections add even more excitement
The Hexenkessel course will not remain unchanged for 2026. Over the past months, the organizing team has worked on several parts of the track and added new challenges to the course.
One of the most anticipated additions is a brand-new and demanding rock garden section. Riders will be able to choose from multiple lines through the obstacle, meaning success will depend not only on riding skill but also on tactical decision-making. Depending on the situation, different lines may save – or cost – valuable seconds. This approach continues Reisersberg’s tradition of offering fresh challenges, even for riders who have competed there before.
Hexenkessel Reisersberg is known for unpredictable racing
The popularity of Reisersberg is also reflected in the statistics. So far, the AUNER HardEnduroSeries Germany has held five races at the Hexenkessel Reisersberg – and every single one has produced a different winner.
This remarkable statistic highlights just how versatile and unpredictable the venue can be. Picking a clear favorite is therefore difficult. The combination of fast sections, technical obstacles, and the newly added features has repeatedly allowed different types of riders to succeed.
This raises an exciting question for the anniversary weekend:
Will the sixth visit to Reisersberg produce yet another new winner, or will one of the previous winners finally claim a second victory at the venue?
Championship battle heats up
From a sporting perspective, the weekend promises plenty of excitement.
After three rounds, Henry Strauss leads the overall championship standings and arrives in Reisersberg as the current championship leader.

Close behind him remains Leon Hentschel, who has repeatedly proven that he is capable of fighting for victories whenever the conditions suit him.
The championship battles in the remaining classes are equally open. In particular, the Junior category is expected to deliver a thrilling fight for the points lead following the injury-related absence of Emil Kessler.
HESG 50 Races – Evening of Legends
A special highlight awaits riders, teams, sponsors, and fans on Saturday evening.
Under the title “HESG 50 Races – Evening of Legends,” the series will celebrate its 50th race. The event will look back on the development of the championship and many memorable moments from its history.
