The AUNER HardEnduroSeries Germany kicks off its ninth season in 2026, presenting a varied yet carefully coordinated schedule. Creating the calendar this year proved particularly challenging: April is traditionally packed with other Hard Enduro and Enduro events, May includes numerous holiday weekends, and at the same time, the organizers wanted to avoid conflicts with the internationally renowned Enduro Panorama in Romania. This combination of factors led to an earlier start to the 2026 season than usual.
Early Start to an Intense Season
The season opener takes place on March 14, 2026, in Neuhaus-Schierschnitz. The technically demanding course provides ideal conditions for a challenging start that will immediately shake up the field. The early date was deliberately chosen to avoid the crowded April calendar and to give riders optimal planning opportunities.
Just two weeks later, on March 28, 2026, the series continues in Reetz – a traditional event known for its challenging races and strong competitor fields. The double March schedule is unusual but necessary to avoid conflicts with national and international race dates while ensuring an exciting start to the season.
Kronach in May – Date to Be Announced
In May, the series moves to Kronach, with the exact date to be officially announced next week. The many holiday weekends in May made scheduling challenging, but Kronach promises an interesting new stage on the calendar: natural, varied, and offering a fresh character for riders and fans.
Reisersberg in Summer – Possibly a Two-Day Event
During the summer, the series heads to Reisersberg, a location that has long enjoyed an excellent reputation among riders. For the first time, there is the possibility of a two-day race weekend – a concept currently under consideration but not yet finalized. If implemented, it would mark a premiere in the history of the HESG.
Reisersberg is a true rider magnet: the course is extremely popular, physically demanding, and features exactly the kind of terrain Hard Enduro riders love. Whether 2026 will actually see a two-day event is still uncertain. If it happens, it could become a real highlight, as the series will also celebrate its 50th race since its founding in 2018 in Reisersberg.
Autumn Classics: Meltewitz and Schwepnitz
On September 13, 2026, Meltewitz awaits – one of the most traditional courses in the series. The quarry track offers extreme technical challenges and remains a central highlight of every season.
The grand finale is expected to take place in late September in Schwepnitz, with the exact date yet to be announced. The fast, sandy sections and the time-honored finale atmosphere have repeatedly produced thrilling championship-deciding moments in recent years.
2026 Championship Registration
Official registration for the AUNER HardEnduroSeries Germany 2026 opens on January 1, 2026, at 12:00 PM.
