AUNER HardEnduroSeries Germany Summer Event in Reisersberg on July 12, 2025 – New Track Sections and Strong Memories of 2024
The MCC Reisersberg is in the final stages of preparation for the fourth round of the AUNER HardEnduroSeries Germany 2025, taking place on July 12, 2025. As in previous years, the track will feature new, challenging sections. Combined with the expected summer temperatures, the event promises to be a sweaty and demanding weekend for both riders and fans.
Looking Back: 2024 Brought a Surprise Winner
In recent years, Reisersberg has established itself as a true summer classic of the series. One of the most memorable editions was in July 2024, when Lenny Geretzky (GasGas) celebrated his first win of the season. In a gripping final, he managed to edge out Henry Strauss (KTM), who had earlier claimed victory in the ACE Bikes Prolog Award and underlined his ambitions by also winning the first group race. However, Geretzky responded in impressive fashion during the final, taking over the lead midway through the race.
The conditions in 2024 were far from easy. Heavy overnight rain made the course extremely slippery, causing many favorites – including Geretzky – to crash in the prologue. Henry Strauss, on the other hand, kept his composure and completed a flawless lap. Although it wasn’t enough for the overall win, his consistently strong performance earned him the mid-season championship title of 2024.
There were also strong performances in the other classes: Maria Franke once again dominated the women’s category, while Leon Hentschel claimed third place in the Pro class and positioned himself as a contender in the title fight.
New Track Sections for 2025
The course in Reisersberg has been revised once again for the 2025 edition. New features and technical challenges ensure variety in the familiar scenic setting of the Bavarian Forest. The proven race format remains in place but has been enhanced with a modified schedule to account for a mandatory midday break in Reisersberg.
- The ACE Bikes Prolog Award will begin as early as 8:30 AM.
- After the first group race, riders will take a longer midday break.
- The second group race kicks off at 1:30 PM, followed by the grand final at 4:15 PM, featuring the top riders of the day.
As always, the Luminus Energie HESG Kids will also be part of the program, giving young talents the chance to showcase their skills.
High Demand – Registration Still Open
With over 70 entries already submitted about three weeks before the event, the popularity of the Reisersberg round is evident. Particularly encouraging is the large number of guest riders from southern Germany who want to take the opportunity to get a first taste of the series.
